During covid lockdown I stayed at home like any other individual at home and had nothing to do except eat, sleep or watch tv.

During this period I gained a lot of weight and could do anything about it coz gyms were closed and no parks were open to walk.

I was in complete shock when I see myself in the mirror I was horrible. So I decided to get into my original shape what I used to look like,

Soon the lockdown was over and life comes to its natural routine I was ready as I promised to myself. I researched a lot on the internet and watched several videos and read articles about how to lose 10 pounds in a week

Although it was not a big goal I was also aware of the side effects of rapid weight loss,

I decided to go slow to get my strength back in the first phase for at least 2 months, post that I will decide my next plan basis the hard work I’m planning to put in and what will result from I would achieve.

So I started my journey

Basis the study and reading article I created my personal weight loss plan which consists of the 3 major parts which I had to follow seriously.

Fruits for Weight Loss

Although everyone knows about how fruits can help us with weight loss, during my research I learn this in detail and created my Fruit for Weight loss Principle to lose 10 pounds in a week.

The Morning Breakfast

In this Method from morning till noon I only eat Fruits including apples, berries, bananas, grapes, and other cheap fruits because I was limited to my budget, but no worries I managed to eat fruits till noon every day

Fruits quantity which I decided was 0.10% of my body weight I was around 110 kg so I had to eat already 1100 grams of fruits every day, Seriously?

It wasn’t easy at all, sometimes I feel like puke because of so much of fruits to eat, which I didn’t in my entire life, but eventually, my body started adopting this.

In 3 portions I manage to eat this much fruit every day. And stopped me from eating anything else than fruits

Vegetables for the Lunch

In this part, as I research it was suggested to eat Raw Vegetables which I did, it was recommended to eat at least 0.05% of body weight which means I have to eat 550 Grams of veggies in plate 1, and if any hunger left then only allowed to eat healthy meals in plate 2.

It was quite difficult to manage such a laundry list of this eating but I had to do that as I promised myself to be in the shape I used to be,

The major benefit for me was being single so it was easy to manage such a boring diet pattern,

So I included carrots, tomatoes, spinach, Sweet potato, Broccoli and others that my pocket allowed, mixed with some olive oil and black paper

The Killing Rule: that was a killer as I have to finish eating up 550 gms of vegetables first which was next to impossible for a junk food freak.

In plate 2 I included brown bread, pasta, and whole grains, and sprouts.

Vegetables for Dinner to lose 10 pounds in a week

It was suggested that I have to follow the plate 1 and plate 2 method in my dinner as well,

Believe me guys first 7 days were like hell for me but soon I started enjoying this as I feel light, my energy level was increasing every day and my mood was fantastic

So let’s come to the point.

Covering my protein Deficiency

People who are doing regular workouts must understand the need for protein so I need not explain this to my readers.

To cover my protein intake I was allowed to take sprouts, nuts, and Dry Fruits, I included all three in some quantity.

Following are the things that I shouldn’t be doing

  • Complete Banned from Dairy products
  • No animal Food Allowed (like meat, fish pork, etc)
  • No alcohol, beer, cigarettes
  • No processed and packed food
  • No spices nothing

Regular Workout To lose 10 pounds in a week

During this period I joined my nearest gym, and although I couldn’t do much my goal was to do at least spend 1 hour there,

During this time Treadmill become my first girlfriend and I was in complete love with her, Such a Darling to me.

I started spending my entire 1 hour with her, it was like I’m dating her every day and cuddling with each other. Oooh Wow

8 hours of sleep to lose 10 pounds in a week

You all must know the Benefits of 8 hrs of sleep

There are several benefits of sleep for weight loss which I discovered during my research.

First, getting enough sleep can help regulate appetite and metabolism. Lack of sleep has been linked to an increased appetite, particularly for high-calorie, sugary foods, as well as a slower metabolism.

On the other hand, sufficient sleep has been shown to help reduce appetite and increase metabolism.

The Final Result About losing 10 pounds in a week

During this period I stopped myself from looking into the mirror so I can compare how much I have lose during this period.

After a month of rigorously following this pattern I managed to lose about 10 kg in the first month, so this was a booster for me, and decided to follow this plan for another 3 months.

You won’t believe after 3 months I managed to lose about 69 Kg which is 154 pounds, losing such weight was my dream and was looking younger than I used to look.
